Where in canon is it stated or implied that 99% of all vampires are murderers? Damon started off with self-control and Caroline certainly didn’t take much time to adjust. Lexi and probably Lee didn’t go around killing people, not to mention Finn, Anna, Pearl, and Harper. Not every vampire is out of control. Imagine all the good that just one person could do if they had multiple lifetimes to become a better person? All the knowledge they could acquire? All the good they could do if they chose to? Now as for why the Salvatores specifically shouldn’t die, I’ll get back to you on that when I find a logical reason beyond I’m sometimes fond of them.

Julie Plec herself said they make it up as they go along. There is no plan and from where I’m sitting it is very predictable. The only drama is who is going to die but reactions and emotions…. Same old, same old.

I can’t remember the exact quote, but Jennifer once said most of the female fans didn’t care for her and flocked to Liam and Josh at the signings. That must have been pretty accurate considering this little doodle.
I think it’s just overexposure. There isn’t as much mystery with her as there is with her costars. Not to mention, teenage hormones. Never discount those.

Slow your roll though. This is about episode 3x19. After Stefan tells Elena that nonsense, Damon and Elena proceed to have something “steamy” happen in a hotel room and later she goes to the dance with Stefan. It’s still very much a triangle and will be until Julie Plec dies, apparently. No one has any idea what Elena’s choice will be, if she’ll even choose to be with either of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elena makes a break with both and all of season 4 is about both of them trying to win her affections. The show’s writing sucks like that.
Yes, Mercedes is totally self-centred and never supportive of Rachel, and poor Rachel - she’s just so kind to Mercedes and that bitch just walks all her kindness, for shame. (Sarcasm for anyone to dumb enough to actually believe this).
